Ask your wedding videographer these questions!

Updated: 4 days ago

Will you be our main videographer/photographer on our wedding day?

All too often, if you see a deal that's too good to be true, it usually is. Some companies that are able to offer this "competitive pricing" are able to do so by paying lower than industry-standard rates for freelance videographers and editors. This means, not only are you not getting a personal experience on your wedding day, but the person editing your film likely doesn't know you either. So how could they truly capture the essence of who you are in your wedding film?

How many videographers/photographers will be with you on the day? Will they cover multiple angles?

The number of times at least one of our angles is blocked at some point during the ceremony by a guest or a vendor!

Some may find the thought of multiple videographers and multiple cameras on their wedding day intimidating and worry it will be intrusive. Here's how we ensure the opposite...

We bring a minimum of 3 cameras to your wedding day to cover multiple angles. This setup is to ensure we always have an angle to use in case someone accidentally blocks one of the angles.

What gear do you use to make sure you capture clear audio? (videographer question)

Our favourite word on a wedding day is "backups". We have tiny mics we attach discretely to both you and your officiant, and about 3 different methods of capturing the speeches at your reception.

What's your colour correction process? Will it affect our wedding colours?

Our footage and photos, like most of our colleagues, goes through a colour correction process, but a lot of time is spent not only achieving the style you see in our work, but also preserving the colours of your bouquets, bridesmaids dresses and decorations.

How can we be reassured you won't cancel last minute? Do you have a backup plan in place in case you are injured or ill and are unable to cover our wedding?

Our agreements are there not just to protect us, but you as well. The retainer fee you send to book your date ensures yours is the ONLY event we're covering on the date of your wedding. It ensures we will not cancel last minute because we have booked another gig. With this said, things happen.

We do everything in our power to prevent illness, injury, etc... but if, closer to your wedding date, we have been injured or fallen ill, we have very professional associate photographers and videographers on standby ready to cover the day.
